Maurício steps into the role with extensive experience within Marriott International and a strong background in financial management. In her new position, she will oversee Accommodation, Housekeeping, Restaurant, Bar, Banquets and Guest Experience operations. She will also carry direct responsibility for the hotel’s operational performance and its strategic positioning within the corporate and MICE segments.

From 2020 to 2026, Maurício served as Finance Director at the Lisbon Marriott Hotel. During that period, she led the Finance and Accounting, Purchasing and IT departments, focusing on cost control, efficiency and revenue optimisation. Under her leadership, the hotel consistently exceeded budget targets, achieved record financial results and maintained strong audit performance. Employee engagement levels also surpassed internal benchmarks during her tenure.

She later held the position of Assistant Director of Finance at the Amsterdam Marriott Hotel before returning to Portugal.
