Lisbon Fashion Week has officially unveiled the name, theme and programme for its 66th edition, scheduled to take place from 12 to 15 March at Pátio da Galé. Organised Associação ModaLisboa in partnership with Lisbon City Council, the event will be held under the title ModaLisboa Pebbling, presented Omoda & Jaecoo, with the two automotive brands owned Chery Automobile confirmed as main sponsors.

The theme Pebbling draws inspiration from digital culture and the concept of small intentional gestures that build connection over time. Organisers describe it as an invitation to reflect on how accumulation, continuity and proximity can generate structural change across creative industries. In a statement, Associação ModaLisboa emphasised that fashion operates within interconnected systems where technology, environment, labour and culture interact continuously.

The four day event will once again position Lisbon as a platform for experimentation and visibility within the Portuguese fashion sector. While Pátio da Galé remains the central venue, the programme will extend to MUDE Museu do Design and CAM Centro de Arte Moderna Gulbenkian, offering public access to exhibitions, presentations and performances.

Among the designers presenting new collections at Pátio da Galé are Gonçalo Peixoto, Carlos Gil, Dino Alves, DuarteHajime, Luís Onofre, Nuno Baltazar, Valentim Quaresma and Luís Carvalho. The Sangue Novo competition finalists will also take to the runway, showcasing emerging talent in what organisers describe as a structured mentorship and development framework that supports young designers from brand creation to sustainable production.

This edition introduces new free entry dynamics, with selected shows offering 100 seats available to the public through online registration. The initiative aims to widen access to fashion events and strengthen the relationship between designers and local audiences.

Workstation Design supported Jean Louis David returns for a second edition, featuring ARNDES, Bárbara Atanásio, Çal Pfungst, Francisca Nabinho and DRIONADREAM. The programme includes technical support, production resources and professional hair styling, alongside an Empowerment Award that provides a financial grant of 2,000 euros per designer to encourage innovation and business development.

Beyond runway presentations, site specific events will take place across the city. Designers Ricardo Andrez and Roselyn Silva will present at MUDE, while Kolovrat will host a performance based presentation at CAM’s Engawa Space. Additional private viewings and studio visits will offer more intimate engagement with the creative process.

Lisbon Fashion Week continues to highlight the economic and cultural relevance of Portugal’s fashion industry, reinforcing its position as both a creative showcase and a business platform that connects designers, companies and international markets.
