Canadian rock musician Bryan Adams is set to return to Portugal in November with two live performances scheduled in Porto and Lisbon, promoter Live Nation confirmed as part of his upcoming European tour.
The concerts will take place at the Pavilhão Rosa Mota in Porto on November 17 and at the MEO Arena in Lisbon on November 20. The shows are included in the European leg of the Roll with the Punches tour, which is scheduled to begin at the end of September in Latvia and conclude in December in Greece.
The tour features dozens of performances across major European markets, including Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, Switzerland, Italy and France. Additional stops are planned in Denmark, Poland, Slovenia, the Czech Republic, Austria, Hungary and Romania, alongside the Portuguese dates.
Tickets for the Portugal concerts will go on sale to the general public on March 6. Pricing details have not yet been disclosed. Demand is expected to be strong, given Adams’s longstanding popularity in the country and his consistent touring presence across Portuguese venues.
Bryan Adams has maintained a steady relationship with Portuguese audiences for more than three decades. Known internationally for hits such as Summer of 69 and Heaven, the Canadian artist has regularly included Portugal in his touring schedules, performing in both major arenas and festival settings.
In 2022, Adams performed in Gondomar, Lisbon and at the Marés Vivas festival in Vila Nova de Gaia. Two years later, he returned for additional performances in Gondomar, Lisbon and Braga, reinforcing his reputation as one of the most frequent international acts on the national concert circuit.
Beyond music, Adams has also connected with Portugal through his work as a photographer. In 2014, he held a photography exhibition in Cascais featuring around one hundred portraits of figures from entertainment, sports, culture and fashion. The exhibition included well known Portuguese personalities such as coach José Mourinho and fado singers Gisela João, Ana Moura, Aldina Duarte, Cuca Roseta and Carminho.
The upcoming November concerts are expected to attract fans from across the country, particularly given the choice of large scale indoor venues capable of hosting significant audiences. Both Porto and Lisbon have become regular stops for international tours, reflecting Portugal’s growing importance within the European live music market.
As part of a wider European schedule running through autumn and early winter, the Portuguese dates will mark one of the final segments of the Roll with the Punches tour before its conclusion in Greece. Live music promoters in Portugal continue to report sustained demand for major international artists, with arena shows remaining a central feature of the country’s cultural calendar.
